Happy Pants

Get your Happy Pants on every week with Vision Australia Radio’s children’s radio program and podcast.

This half-hour program promises to entertain and inspire children under 10 who are blind, have low vision or a print disability.

Tune in each week to hear immersive stories and music, learn new dance moves and fun facts about animals and the world around us.

Happy Pants is presented by Geraldine Carlin, Kate Leaversuch and Rebecca Warburton in the Perth studios. Geraldine grew up on a dairy farm surrounded by kilometres of bush to explore. She had a career in education, with forays into singing, writing and TV. Geraldine currently sings with Chorus Oz and enjoys needlepoint and pergamano (worth a Google!). Kate discovered Vision Australia Radio after her daughter lost most of her vision following meningitis. Kate has really enjoyed learning new skills and presenting different programs, especially Happy Pants! She also loves finding ladybirds in her garden, as these little critters bring her happiness and joy. Rebecca relives her love of drama on Happy Pants each week plus enjoys sharing stories she created for her own children – most centring around Rupert the Frog. She loves frogs but her favourite animals are dogs – particularly Raffy (her own).

Listen to Happy Pants live at 10am on Saturdays or at 9.30am on Sundays on your local Vision Australia Radio service or online, or catch up via the Happy Pants podcast whenever you like.
